The idea is that, from the creation of partnerships, such as the one signed between the Museu Nacional and the 34th Bienal de Artes de São Paulo, other pieces rescued after the fire in September 2018, may integrate, for a certain period, spaces in museums and galleries in Brazil, bringing culture, science and knowledge to the population through dialogue. The idea is that these elements help to think about the exhibition, to read the works that are physically placed close to these statements in very specific ways. We do not want to impose a reading of the works, but suggest possible readings. Therefore, we did not want to use strategy or conventional elements of an exhibition, hence the pieces”.

VALE, one of the platinum sponsors of the Museu Nacional Vive Project, also sponsors the 34th Bienal de São Paulo. Luiz Eduardo OsorioExecutive Vice-President of Vale Institution and Communication Relation and President of the Instituto Cultural Vale Board, says that “The Museu Nacional lives in its restoration work, educative projects, and social mobilization; and the meetings and dialogues with its audience, like this partnership with the 34th São Paulo Art Biennial.
