In recent days, more than 5 tons of beams and pillars have been lifted to form the base of the future skylight above the staircase courtyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The skylight is one of the innovative features in the architectural and restoration project of the Museum and has already received approval from the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (Iphan). It will help preserve the staircase, installed in the early 20th century, which was previously exposed to the elements, causing damage to its finishes.
