A ceremony in front of the São Cristóvão Palace for the signing of a partnership intention protocol between UFRJ, Vale Foundation, BNDES and UNESCO. The event was attended by Rio de Janeiro deputies, authorities and academic community members. At the time, Vale announced its willingness to contribute up to R$ 50 million to the Museum rebuilding.
