National Museum and UFRJ hold a press conference to present the progress of the MN rebuilding in 2020 and the perspectives for 2021. The virtual event was attended by representatives from UNESCO, Vale Cultural Institute and BNDES. On that date, Bradesco became a platinum sponsor of the Museu Nacional Vive Project. The cultural incentive, in the amount of R$ 50 million, will be managed by the Friends of the National Museum Association (SAMN). The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), which had already contributed R$ 21.7 million to the Project, confirmed a new transfer of R$ 28.3 million.
